Construction Manager

About the Role

OHC | العمر القابضة is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee the execution of multiple construction projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, field-based position requires a highly technical and hands-on professional with a strong focus on on-site operations, technical quality, subcontractor management, and engineering team leadership. The role involves managing site engineers and ensuring all subcontractors perform their work according to approved drawings, specifications, contracts, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage site engineering teams.
• Supervise subcontractors across all disciplines.
• Coordinate civil, architectural, and MEP works.
• Monitor construction progress and review workmanship quality.
• Resolve site conflicts and control sequencing between trades.
• Monitor material requirements and ensure proper completion of works before inspection and handover.
• Conduct regular site inspections and lead site coordination meetings.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and identify delays and risks.
• Implement recovery actions when required.
• Provide management with clear progress updates and recommendations.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management.
• Demonstrated strong technical capability and leadership skills.
• Experience working for a Main Contractor or General Contractor is preferred.
• Proven ability to directly manage engineers and multiple specialized subcontractors.
• Capable of identifying execution issues, coordinating different trades, and resolving technical problems.
• A hands-on construction professional committed to driving projects toward successful completion.

Work Environment

This is a field-based role, requiring significant on-site presence and direct involvement in project execution across various construction sites in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
