About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Consultant ENT (Otolaryngology) to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to providing high-quality, specialized ear, nose, and throat care across both physical clinic and digital care settings within Bupa CareConnect.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Consultant ENT is responsible for the comprehensive assessment, accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up management of acute and chronic ENT conditions. This role emphasizes evidence-based clinical practice, ensuring patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and patient safety. The Consultant will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives and the strategic development of ENT services across virtual and in-person care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive ENT assessments through in-person and virtual consultations.
  • Diagnose acute and chronic ENT conditions using evidence-based clinical approaches and investigations.
  • Interpret imaging, laboratory results, and audiological or vestibular test findings.
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment and follow-up plans, providing medical and procedural management for a wide range of ENT conditions.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as clinical needs evolve, and educate patients on their conditions, preventive care, and treatment adherence.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance requirements, telemedicine regulations, and patient safety standards, adhering to institutional protocols and international ENT clinical guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, peer review processes, and report/manage clinical incidents and adverse events.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, coordinating referrals and continuity of patient care with internal and external specialists.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered ENT care, addressing concerns promptly and ensuring clear communication about diagnoses and management options.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR system.

Professional Development and Leadership

  • Maintain active SCFHS licensure and comply with all CME requirements.
  • Stay updated with advancements in ENT clinical practice, surgical techniques, and healthcare technologies.
  • Mentor junior physicians and support the professional development of the medical team.
  • Contribute to organizational strategic and operational goals of the ENT service.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience as an ENT Consultant.
  • Active licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous medical education (CME).

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh. The role involves working within a dynamic healthcare setting that integrates both physical and digital care delivery models.
