We are seeking a COOP-Security Managed Services New Associate to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, offering an opportunity to contribute to critical cybersecurity operations.

The Cyber Defense Practice

The successful candidate will become part of our Cyber Defense practice, a team dedicated to detecting, investigating, and responding to threats against our clients' most critical assets. This role operates within live environments, addressing active threats, and utilizing various tools and techniques to maintain a proactive security posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Security Operations Center (SOC) activities, including threat monitoring, alert triage, and incident escalation workflows.
  • Assist in threat intelligence gathering and analysis to help identify emerging attack patterns and vulnerabilities.
  • Contribute to incident response activities, encompassing documentation, investigation, and tracking of security events through to resolution.
  • Support vulnerability assessments and security testing activities across client environments.
  • Collaborate within blended onshore and offshore defense teams, gaining exposure to enterprise-scale 24/7 cyber defense operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in the last year of a Bachelor's program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
  • Foundational understanding of networking, threat landscapes, and security monitoring concepts.
  • Demonstrated detail-orientation and analytical skills, with the ability to identify patterns and think critically under pressure.
  • Clear communication skills, comfortable with documenting findings and collaborating across technical teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Hands-on exposure to SIEM tools such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks, including MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Coursework or self-study in ethical hacking, digital forensics, or incident response.
  • Interest in pursuing industry certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or Blue Team Level 1 (BTL1).
