About the COOP-Security Managed Services Associate Role

Accenture Saudi Arabia, a leading global professional services company, is seeking a COOP-Security Managed Services New Associate for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, providing a foundational opportunity to gain practical cybersecurity experience within live operational environments, addressing active threats, and utilizing advanced tools and techniques.

Role Context within Cyber Defense

The successful candidate will join Accenture's Cyber Defense practice, a team operating on the front line to detect, investigate, and respond to security threats targeting clients' most critical assets. This position offers exposure to the complexities of 24/7 cyber defense operations at an enterprise scale, working within blended onshore and offshore defense teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Security Operations Center (SOC) activities, including threat monitoring, alert triage, and incident escalation workflows.
  • Assist in threat intelligence gathering and analysis to identify emerging attack patterns and vulnerabilities.
  • Contribute to incident response activities, documenting, investigating, and tracking security events through to resolution.
  • Support vulnerability assessments and security testing across client environments.
  • Work within blended onshore and offshore defense teams, gaining exposure to 24/7 cyber defense operations.

Qualifications and Academic Background

  • Currently enrolled in the last year of a Bachelor's program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
  • Foundational understanding of networking, threat landscapes, and security monitoring concepts.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to spot patterns and think critically under pressure.
  • Clear communicator, comfortable documenting findings and collaborating across technical teams.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Practical exposure to SIEM tools.
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks.
  • Academic or self-study background in ethical hacking, digital forensics, or incident response.
  • Interest in pursuing industry certifications.
