About the COOP-Security Managed Services New Associate Role
Accenture Saudi Arabia is seeking a COOP-Security Managed Services New Associate to join its Cyber Defense practice in Riyadh. This full-time role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, providing an opportunity to engage with cybersecurity in live environments and active threat scenarios. The Cyber Defense practice is at the forefront of detecting, investigating, and responding to threats against clients' most critical assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Security Operations Center (SOC) activities, including threat monitoring, alert triage, and incident escalation workflows.
- Assist in threat intelligence gathering and analysis to help identify emerging attack patterns and vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to incident response activities, helping document, investigate, and track security events through to resolution.
- Support vulnerability assessments and security testing activities across client environments.
- Work within blended onshore and offshore defense teams, gaining exposure to how 24/7 cyber defense operates at enterprise scale.
Academic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in the last year of a Bachelor's program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
Required Skills and Foundational Knowledge
- Foundational understanding of networking, threat landscapes, and security monitoring concepts.
- Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to spot patterns and think critically under pressure.
- Clear communicator, comfortable documenting findings and working collaboratively across technical teams.
Preferred Experience and Interests
- Hands-on exposure to SIEM tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
- Coursework or self-study in ethical hacking, digital forensics, or incident response.
- Interest in pursuing industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or Blue Team Level 1 (BTL1).
