Role Overview

Accenture Saudi Arabia is seeking a COOP-Security Managed Services New Associate to join its Cyber Defense practice in Riyadh. This full-time role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, providing an opportunity to contribute to the detection, investigation, and response to threats against client assets within live environments. The position offers exposure to the tools and techniques used to manage active cybersecurity threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Security Operations Center (SOC) activities, including threat monitoring, alert triage, and incident escalation workflows.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing threat intelligence to identify emerging attack patterns and vulnerabilities.
  • Contribute to incident response activities, helping document, investigate, and track security events through to resolution.
  • Support vulnerability assessments and security testing activities across client environments.
  • Work within blended onshore and offshore defense teams, gaining exposure to how 24/7 cyber defense operates at an enterprise scale.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in the last year of a Bachelor's program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
  • Foundational understanding of networking, threat landscapes, and security monitoring concepts.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to spot patterns and think critically under pressure.
  • Clear communication skills, comfortable documenting findings and working across technical teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Hands-on exposure to SIEM tools such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Coursework or self-study in ethical hacking, digital forensics, or incident response.
  • Interest in certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or Blue Team Level 1 (BTL1).
