Corporate Strategy Management Manager

About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Corporate Strategy Management Manager to lead the development, execution, and governance of the company’s corporate strategy. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires over 10 years of experience. The role involves providing strategic direction supported by market intelligence, competitive analysis, and external insights to enable informed decision-making, organizational alignment, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and periodic review of the corporate strategy, defining strategic objectives, priorities, initiatives, and long-term targets.
• Lead annual and long-term strategic planning cycles, translating priorities into actionable plans, milestones, and performance measures.
• Guide research covering markets, industries, competitors, technologies, and emerging opportunities, translating external developments into strategic implications.
• Lead growth, market-entry, diversification, partnership, and investment assessments, evaluating strategic options based on fit, potential, and risk.
• Ensure business unit strategies align with corporate priorities and establish strategy management frameworks and governance processes.
• Build relationships with senior leadership and business units, directing corporate strategy and market intelligence activities.
• Improve strategic planning, intelligence, monitoring, and reporting practices, leveraging digital tools and AI.

Role Accountabilities

• Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers to create a robust second line of management, and guide low performers for improvement or release.
• Take full responsibility for operations as per the job description and deliverables, anticipating problems and taking proactive steps.
• Deliver required results in a timely manner with specified quality and cost, making a tangible difference and exceeding business expectations.
• Transform corporate goals into business plans, monitoring performance and initiating corrective actions.
• Develop the organizational structure according to current and future requirements, ensuring job descriptions are available for all roles.
• Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
• Ensure quality is maintained as a prime competitive advantage for Alfanar.
• Adapt to new and alternative techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead corporate strategy development and execution.
• Proficiency in market intelligence, competitive analysis, and strategic insights.
• Experience in strategic planning, monitoring, and reporting practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
