Vision Horizons Medical (VHM) is seeking a dedicated CT Technician to join its full-time team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services within a professional healthcare environment.

Role Overview

The CT Technician will be responsible for the proficient operation of Computed Tomography (CT) systems, ensuring precise patient positioning, and producing diagnostic images of excellent technical quality. This position requires a strong commitment to patient safety, privacy, and adherence to established medical and operational protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various Computed Tomography (CT) systems, demonstrating the ability to quickly adapt to and learn new equipment and technologies.
• Accurately position patients for scanning specific areas of their bodies.
• Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of X-ray tubes.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety and maintain hygiene standards.
• Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions and execute procedures accordingly.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients as required to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
• Evaluate CT scans to confirm their technical quality and suitability for diagnostic review.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients, obtain informed consent prior to imaging, and ensure appropriate screening, providing reassurance and support as needed.
• Present images and preliminary findings to Physicians for review.
• Handle technical questions and inquiries, and provide regular performance reports.
• Report immediately to Radiology Administration in case of any emergency, sickness, or absence.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work therein.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in Computed Tomography.
• Demonstrated ability to operate and adapt to various CT systems and technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in patient positioning and scan evaluation.
• Effective communication skills for patient interaction and team coordination.

Professional Standards and Work Environment

The successful candidate will maintain the integrity and privacy of all patient information, with strict adherence to confidentiality protocols; disclosure of any information to unauthorized parties will lead to a financial penalty and contract termination. This full-time position requires commitment to scheduled duty hours (8 consecutive hours) and efficient, accurate coordination with a multi-disciplinary team. Compliance with Vision Horizons Medical’s policies, procedures, and objectives, ongoing quality improvement goals, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards is mandatory. Adherence to internationally recognized Joint Commission International (JCI) guidelines and local CBAHI credentialing is also required.
