Custody & Operations Officer

About the Role

Futu Holdings is seeking a Custody & Operations Officer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves executing daily custody, settlement, clearing, reconciliation, and operational activities across both the Saudi Capital Market and International Markets. The officer will ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies, contributing to the smooth functioning of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily custody, settlement, clearing, and reconciliation activities for both Saudi Capital Market and International Markets.
• Process securities settlements, cash movements, and custody instructions accurately and within market deadlines.
• Perform daily cash and securities reconciliations and investigate settlement exceptions.
• Process corporate actions, including dividends, stock splits, rights issues, and other entitlement events for Saudi and International securities.
• Monitor failed trades and coordinate with brokers, custodians, counterparties, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate operational records and prepare daily operational reports.
• Support client asset protection, operational controls, and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Coordinate with key market participants such as Saudi Exchange, Muqassa, Edaa, custodian banks, and global custodians.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), process improvements, and operational projects.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess relevant experience in financial operations. The position requires a professional with a background that demonstrates the ability to manage complex custody and settlement processes.

• 2-5 years of experience in custody, settlement, clearing, or related operational activities within financial markets.
• Understanding of Saudi Capital Market regulations and international market practices.
• Proficiency in processing financial transactions and managing reconciliations.
