Customer Delivery Architect

About the Role

Cisco is seeking a Customer Delivery Architect to join its Professional Services Security practice in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is for an experienced professional with 5-10 years in the field. You will be part of a team dedicated to helping enterprise customers maximize their investment in Cisco’s security portfolio, specifically focusing on Splunk SIEM, SOAR, and AI-driven security operations. The team manages projects from initial discovery and design phases through to implementation and ongoing operations, collaborating with product, engineering, and customer success teams to refine delivery methods.

Key Responsibilities

As a Splunk Security Architect, you will drive technical leadership and innovation within the Splunk security ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide authoritative guidance within the Splunk security domain, demonstrating deep expertise in SIEM, SOAR, and Observability integrations.
• Lead the strategic planning, composition, and implementation of tailored Splunk security architectures to mitigate risk and improve technology investments.
• Apply sophisticated AI and automation tools to optimize security operations, automate incident response, and enhance detection efficacy.
• Develop and maintain high-value customer relationships, ensuring technical alignment with customer security objectives.
• Define and implement documentation standards for complex security deployments, ensuring transparency and structure for technical assets.
• Build and apply advanced simulation environments; provide expert support for complex security issues and platform challenges.

Strategic Impact and Leadership

This role involves serving as a trusted advisor for sophisticated, multi-functional security initiatives at regional and global scales. You will:

• Partner with senior customer leaders to guide security adoption journeys, optimize threat detection and response, and ensure solutions deliver measurable business value.
• Advocate for intellectual capital creation, synthesizing security trends to influence product direction and improve delivery methodologies.
• Apply expertise in security orchestration, automation, and AI Ops to deliver innovative, scalable customer outcomes.
• Build technical skills across the team, serving as a domain expert on Plan, Design, Implement, and Optimize (PDIO) methodologies.
• Collaborate with Product Management to track security trends, influence service offers, and share actionable customer insights.

Minimum Qualifications

• University degree combined with equivalent professional experience.
• Expert-level certification in Splunk (*, Splunk Certified Architect, Splunk Certified Consultant) or an equivalent relevant security certification.
• Demonstrable experience in customer-facing advisory roles, including defining project scope, estimating effort, and drafting statements of work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience leading complex, multi-functional consulting or engineering projects within the security space.
• Deep technical expertise in the Splunk platform, with a proven ability to drive security adoption and customer outcomes.
• Advanced skills in automation, SOAR orchestration, and AI-driven security operations.
• Demonstrable ability to mentor and develop talent across technical consulting teams.
• Superb communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with experience representing technical expertise at industry events.

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within Cisco’s Professional Services Security practice. The team operates in a collaborative environment, working closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams. This collaboration is key to continuously refining delivery methods and internal tools, ensuring customers receive optimal results from their security technology investments.
