Cyber Security Architect

About the Role

Socium - Teams Done Differently is seeking a Cyber Security Architect for an initial 12-month contract position. This role is based onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Cyber Security Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust cybersecurity architectures to protect enterprise systems and data.

International Candidates and Relocation

International candidates are encouraged to apply. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified individuals. However, candidates must be prepared to relocate to Saudi Arabia at their own expense, as airfare and accommodation will not be covered by the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise cybersecurity architectures, frameworks, and security solutions.
• Define and implement Zero Trust security architectures and strategies.
• Develop security architectures for cloud environments, including public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Design and assess network security architectures to protect enterprise systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Ensure security architecture aligns with business requirements, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and gap analyses.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, cloud engineers, and cybersecurity stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain security architecture standards, principles, and reference models.
• Apply architecture frameworks and methodologies, including TOGAF and SABSA, to guide security design and implementation.
• Provide technical guidance on security controls, technology selection, and architecture decisions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 8–10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on security architecture.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity architecture design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, cloud security, and network security architecture.
• Experience with enterprise architecture and security architecture frameworks, particularly TOGAF and/or SABSA.
• Understanding of security principles, risk management, security controls, and enterprise security standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
