About the Role

The Water Transmission Company (WTCO) is seeking a Cybersecurity GRC Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for safeguarding WTCO's IT operations and assets, ensuring the reliability and integrity of data through robust governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.

Cybersecurity Governance and Compliance

• Ensure adherence to all applicable cybersecurity laws, rules, regulations, and standards across WTCO functions.
• Implement the cybersecurity strategy to protect IT operations and assets, ensuring data reliability and integrity.
• Gather information on leading practices to support the development of a robust cybersecurity governance framework, aligned with relevant regulations and legislation.
• Develop cybersecurity policies, procedures, and the overall governance framework in accordance with relevant regulations and legislation.
• Conduct periodical reviews of cybersecurity strategy, policies, and related documentation to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Develop WTCO's internal cybersecurity compliance requirements, policies, and systems, ensuring adherence across all functions.

Risk Management and Resilience

• Implement and maintain the cybersecurity risk management process on an ongoing basis to mitigate risks and propose enhancements.
• Systematically manage cybersecurity risks to protect WTCO's information and technical assets.
• Integrate cybersecurity resilience requirements into WTCO's overall business resilience management.

Operational Implementation and Vendor Management

• Ensure the implementation of cybersecurity requirements and adherence to relevant regulations and legislation.
• Oversee the implementation of cybersecurity vendor assessments across WTCO and its projects.
• Ensure the implementation of third-party and cloud computing cybersecurity requirements, adhering to WTCO policies and relevant regulations.

Awareness, Training, and Continuous Improvement

• Enhance employee awareness of cyber threats and their cybersecurity responsibilities.
• Provide necessary cybersecurity training to employees to protect WTCO's information and technology assets.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in cybersecurity practices, cost optimization, and efficiency.
• Escalate cybersecurity issues to ensure efficient and timely resolution.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance. This role requires a professional committed to maintaining high standards of cybersecurity within a critical infrastructure environment in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
