ABYAT is a prominent retail store in the Middle East, specializing in home improvement products. Established in Kuwait in September 2005, the company has expanded its operations to Saudi Arabia, with further expansion planned for Qatar and the UAE. ABYAT offers a diverse range of products, including tiles, wallpapers, lighting solutions, and kitchen fixtures, across its extensive 22,000-square-meter retail spaces.

The Role of 3D Modeler

The 3D Modeler is responsible for creating accurate, high-quality, and application-optimized 3D models of ABYAT products. These models are utilized within the Design Tool to enable customers, designers, and sales teams to visualize actual ABYAT products within complete interior spaces. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert ABYAT catalog products into accurate 3D models.
• Model furniture and other products based on technical specifications, dimensions, drawings, photographs, and product information.
• Accurately reproduce product shape, proportions, and details.
• Create appropriate materials, textures, and colors for 3D models.
• Optimize 3D assets for efficient use within the Design Tool, ensuring models meet required polygon, file-size, and technical standards.
• Follow established naming and file-management conventions.
• Prepare models in required formats for application upload.
• Ensure models accurately represent the physical product and verify dimensions and product details before submission.
• Make corrections based on feedback from the Senior Visualizer/QA.
• Maintain consistent modeling quality across different product categories.
• Support the development of product layouts and interior scenes when required.
• Create product combinations using ABYAT catalog items.
• Support visualization requirements for Design Center, Sales, and Design Hub users.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in 3D modeling or a related field.
• Proficiency in converting product specifications into detailed 3D models.
• Experience with model optimization techniques for application use.
• Ability to ensure accuracy and quality in 3D model representation.

Work Location

This position is a full-time role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
