Data Analyst II Finance

About the Role

MRSOOL Inc is seeking a Data Analyst II - Finance to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on supporting the finance function through analytical solutions and data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of finance and data, contributing to financial reporting with a solid understanding of accounting and finance principles, combined with practical experience in databases, ETL/ELT processes, and dashboard development.

Role Context

This position involves developing key product success metrics and enhancing decision-making through data analysis. The Data Analyst will manage stakeholders from finance and corporate finance, ensuring that analytical solutions align with business objectives and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business impact by providing actionable insights and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Develop dashboards that offer accurate and actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to address data enrichment needs for the product team.
• Work with various business stakeholders to prioritize projects based on their potential impact and ensure timely delivery.
• Establish processes to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns within complex data sets, supporting informed decision-making.
• Ensure data governance and promote sound analytical practices throughout all processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a preference for 4+ years in financial data analysis.
• Experience in the BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) industry or a related financial field is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of relevant data and financial metrics.
• Proficiency in developing analytical solutions and assisting with data-driven decision-making.
• Practical experience working with databases, ETL/ELT processes, and building dashboards.
• Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles.
