The Role of Data Infrastructure Supervisor

Albawani Holding is seeking a Data Infrastructure Supervisor to join the Group Digital IT and Technology Department in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience. The supervisor will lead a technical team of data engineers, analysts, and external consultants to manage a robust data infrastructure using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. The role supports enterprise machine learning/AI initiatives, enforces data governance, and delivers actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making across all group subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign daily work, track deliverables, provide technical mentorship, conduct performance reviews, and foster skill development within the team.
• Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion into Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data quality and security, optimizing pipeline performance, and managing workspaces.
• Manage Power BI workspaces and access controls, support interactive dashboard development, and assist subsidiaries with analytics best practices.
• Coordinate ML model deployments, integrate predictive outputs into operational workflows, and champion generative AI tools such as Copilot.
• Liaise with internal business units and external vendors, monitor cloud resource consumption and costs for back charging, and drive efficiency improvements.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in data infrastructure management and team leadership.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Group Digital IT and Technology Department of Albawani Holding. The role involves leading a technical team and collaborating with various internal business units and external partners.
