About the Role

Amazon is seeking a Delivery Partner Manager Quick Commerce Last Mile Logistics to join its team in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to driving innovation in the transportation industry, empowering entrepreneurs, and contributing to Amazon’s sustainability goals. The Delivery Partner Manager functions as both an advisor and an operating partner, assisting and guiding Amazon Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) as they build and grow successful middle-mile logistics businesses during a period of transformation.

Core Responsibilities

The Delivery Partner Manager will be responsible for managing the relationship with a portfolio of 25-30 DSP owners across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, overseeing their business lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:

• Working closely with DSP owners at various stages to establish strategy, drive accountability and engagement, and monitor key performance metrics.
• Collaborating with an integrated internal team of Program Managers, Compliance, and Finance personnel to ensure owners launch and scale their businesses in adherence to program requirements.
• Supporting owners by identifying and removing obstacles, and implementing improvements in financial, operational, and safety practices at the network level.
• Analyzing problems, uncovering insights, providing recommendations, and driving change both internally and externally.
• Engaging frequently with a wide array of integrated internal stakeholders such as Partner Relations (PAR), Value Added Service (VAS), Legal, fleet, and network health teams.
• Facilitating and executing Monitoring and Enforcement Policies (MEP) and establishing two-way feedback channels with OTR teams, DSPs, and WW/EU Product and Strategy.

Operational Focus Areas

The role involves daily engagement across several critical operational areas to ensure the success and compliance of DSP partners:

• Safety: Partnering with OTR Safety and OTR Regional Managers to ensure business safety compliance.
• Performance: Guiding owners in scaling their businesses, managing operational issues, supporting onboarding and program launch preparation, coaching for compliant, safe, and high-performing operations through SLS metric deep dives, ensuring effective upskilling and utilization of AMZL tools, and deep diving into customer metrics to identify and act on improvement opportunities. This also includes championing the consistent application of Last Mile processes.
• Experience: Identifying workflow inefficiencies and formulating operational improvements at the network level to enhance the individual DSP owner experience. This involves developing and strengthening the relationship between Amazon and DSP partners, ensuring clear and aligned communication, serving as the voice of the DSP, and driving improvements in driver standards.
• Capacity Management: Working with DSPs to deliver effective ramp plans and pipeline goals, ensuring driver supply is achieved to meet peak volume demands.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2+ years of relevant professional experience. The role is open to entrepreneurs with no prior background in the logistics industry, as well as seasoned logistics carriers, depending on the specific business program.

Work Environment and Travel

This position is based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role requires flexibility and regular travel between multiple sites to engage with business owners weekly to carry out responsibilities effectively.
