About the Opportunity

WSP is seeking a Design Manager - BIM & GIS to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to leading digital design coordination and information management activities across a portfolio of major development projects.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Design Manager will support the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and broader digital delivery standards. A core aspect of this role involves ensuring effective collaboration among consultants and project teams to achieve project objectives and maintain consistent digital practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage BIM and GIS consultants throughout project delivery phases.
• Establish BIM execution requirements and digital delivery standards for projects.
• Review BIM models, coordination outputs, and information management processes.
• Monitor model quality, conduct clash detection, and oversee multidisciplinary coordination activities.
• Support the implementation and governance of the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Coordinate BIM and GIS integration to enhance project planning and delivery.
• Support digital reporting, asset information, and data management initiatives.
• Conduct BIM audits and monitor consultant compliance with established project standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, GIS, or a related field.
• A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in BIM, GIS, or digital delivery.
• Proven experience working on large-scale masterplan, mixed-use, or infrastructure developments.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols.
• Comprehensive knowledge of information management principles.
• Expertise in digital project delivery methodologies and best practices.
