Role Overview

The Design Manager - Landscape and Irrigation will be responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of high-quality public realm, landscape, and open space environments. This position focuses on a portfolio of large-scale developments, ensuring design excellence and adherence to project objectives. The role involves working within a close-knit community of professionals dedicated to making a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage landscape and irrigation design consultants throughout project delivery phases.
• Review landscape concepts, public realm strategies, and irrigation systems for quality and compliance.
• Coordinate landscape interfaces with architectural designs, infrastructure, utilities, and transportation elements.
• Monitor design quality, project programme, and the performance of design consultants.
• Support initiatives related to sustainability and water conservation within design proposals.
• Lead technical reviews and facilitate coordination meetings with various stakeholders.
• Evaluate hardscape, softscape, planting, and irrigation proposals.
• Contribute to value engineering and lifecycle cost optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• A degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related discipline.

Experience and Skills

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in landscape design and project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience working on large-scale communities, mixed-use developments, or public realm projects.
• A strong understanding of irrigation systems and sustainable landscape design principles.
