The Role of Design Manager, Landscape & Irrigation

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Design Manager - Landscape & Irrigation to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on supporting the planning and delivery of high-quality public realm, landscape, and open space environments. The successful candidate will work across a portfolio of large-scale developments, ensuring design excellence and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage landscape and irrigation design consultants throughout project delivery.
• Review landscape concepts, public realm strategies, and irrigation systems.
• Coordinate landscape interfaces with architecture, infrastructure, utilities, and transportation elements.
• Monitor design quality, programme adherence, and consultant performance.
• Support sustainability and water conservation objectives within design projects.
• Lead technical reviews and stakeholder coordination meetings.
• Review hardscape, softscape, planting, and irrigation proposals.
• Support value engineering and lifecycle cost optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in landscape design and project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience on large-scale communities, mixed-use developments, or public realm projects.
• Strong understanding of irrigation systems and sustainable landscape design principles.
