The Role: Design Manager - Telecoms/AV/ELV

WSP Middle East is seeking a Design Manager - Telecoms/AV/ELV to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to supporting the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of technology infrastructure across a portfolio of large-scale developments. The role requires a professional who can manage complex design processes and ensure technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage design consultants specializing in telecoms, AV, ICT, security, and ELV systems.
• Review technology strategies, design submissions, and technical specifications to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Coordinate ICT and low-voltage systems effectively across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ensure the seamless integration of smart technologies, security systems, structured cabling, AV, and communications infrastructure.
• Support stakeholder engagement activities and facilitate technical workshops.
• Monitor consultant performance and track the delivery of project deliverables.
• Review designs and implementations for compliance with relevant standards, project requirements, and authority regulations.
• Support the development and execution of procurement and technology implementation strategies.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role must possess over 15+ years of professional experience in a relevant field. Essential experience includes working on large-scale mixed-use, smart city, hospitality, or commercial developments, demonstrating a proven track record in managing complex technology infrastructure projects.
