About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh is seeking an experienced Design Project Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading the design and delivery of large-scale, multidisciplinary projects, ensuring successful outcomes from concept through construction documentation.

Role Overview

The Design Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete design lifecycle of projects. This includes ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, client requirements, and international standards, alongside internal quality procedures. The role requires strong technical leadership, effective stakeholder management, and seamless coordination across various engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the design delivery of major multidisciplinary projects from concept through construction documentation.
  • Develop and maintain project execution plans, design programmes, resource plans, and project budgets.
  • Coordinate Architectural, Structural, MEP, Infrastructure, Landscape, BIM, and specialist disciplines to ensure seamless design integration.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify design risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, international design standards, and client requirements.
  • Conduct regular design coordination meetings and technical reviews.
  • Review project deliverables to ensure quality, constructability, and commercial objectives are achieved.
  • Manage project scope changes and coordinate with commercial teams regarding contractual implications.
  • Support proposal preparation, fee estimation, and resource planning for new opportunities.
  • Mentor project teams and promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective coordination with BIM and Digital Engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a proven background in leading the design and delivery of large-scale, multidisciplinary projects. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
