Digital Delivery Manager

About the Role

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Digital Delivery Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the strategic planning, development, and execution of digital and technological experiences within project management consultancy (PMC) workflows. The manager will bridge physical architecture with technology, overseeing cross-functional teams to deliver immersive visitor journeys, smart site solutions, and interactive content for the Expo 2030 Riyadh project.

Project Context: Expo 2030 Riyadh

The Expo 2030 Riyadh, themed “Foresight for Tomorrow,” is a global platform promoting sustainable development and innovation, scheduled from October 2030 to March 2031, expecting over 40 million visits. Bechtel will manage the infrastructure program for the Expo 2030 Riyadh Company (ERC), covering early works, utilities, and public spaces across the 6 km2 Masterplan. This project will transition into a mixed-use legacy development post-event, adhering to international sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute digital strategies and technology roadmaps aligned with project delivery goals.
• Identify and automate inefficient PMC workflows using cloud-based or digital solutions.
• Oversee Building Information Modeling (BIM) data integration with project controls, scheduling, and cost tools.
• Lead change management initiatives and training programs for new digital platforms.
• Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with construction technology vendors and software providers.
• Establish project dashboards (*, Power BI) for real-time progress and predictive analytics.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of digital solutions, including custom software, interactive media, mobile applications, and IoT integrations.
• Source, evaluate, and manage external technology vendors, creative agencies, and hardware suppliers, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, construction managers, and content curators for seamless digital hardware integration.
• Drive the development of smart visitor journeys, including ticketing, indoor wayfinding, AR/VR activations, and digital crowd management.
• Collaborate with network engineers to ensure high-speed connectivity, robust hardware, data privacy compliance, and cybersecurity protocols.
• Establish a technical support framework for real-time troubleshooting, system maintenance, and updates during the operational phase.

Qualifications and Experience

• A proven track record of managing complex technology deployments.
• Ability to deliver projects under tight, unmovable deadlines.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
