Qiddiya is developing entertainment and leisure destinations in Saudi Arabia. The company is seeking a Director - Design to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves shaping the design philosophy and overseeing the design direction for development projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision.

The Director - Design Role

As Director - Design, you will provide strategic leadership in design, guiding projects from concept through completion. This pivotal position requires an individual capable of fostering creativity within a diverse team while ensuring design solutions are innovative, practical, and meet high standards of quality and compliance. The role is central to realizing Qiddiya's objectives for its development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement design strategies that align with Qiddiya's overarching goals and vision.
• Lead and inspire a diverse team of designers and architects, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
• Oversee the design development processes from initial concept through to project completion.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design solutions are practical, innovative, and reflect community engagement.
• Review and approve design proposals, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Stay abreast of global design trends and best practices, integrating these insights into project initiatives.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, ensuring deliverables are met within expected parameters.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders, presenting design concepts and incorporating their feedback into the design process.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• 12+ years of professional experience in design leadership roles, preferably within the real estate or entertainment sectors.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• A proven track record of successfully delivering high-impact design projects on time and within budget.
