Director Food and Beverages

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company | شركة قدية الاستثمارية is seeking a Director- Food and Beverages to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves overseeing all food and beverage operations across multiple hotels within a portfolio. The Director will combine strategic leadership, commercial acumen, operational expertise, and pre-opening experience to ensure each property delivers a distinctive and competitive food and beverage offering aligned with its market positioning, target guests, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute cluster-wide food and beverage strategies aligned with each hotel's positioning and business objectives.
• Drive food and beverage revenue, profitability, market share, and guest satisfaction across all properties.
• Lead all food and beverage pre-opening activities, including concept development reviews and validation of operating models.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of food and beverage leadership teams prior to opening.
• Participate in project handovers from development and construction teams to hotel operations.
• Oversee all restaurants, bars, lounges, cafes, banqueting facilities, and in-room dining across the portfolio.
• Develop and manage food and beverage budgets across the cluster, monitoring profitability and operating expenses.
• Build and develop high-performing food and beverage leadership teams and create succession planning programs.
• Ensure all outlets consistently meet brand standards and guest expectations, monitoring feedback and driving improvement initiatives.
• Act as the primary food and beverage representative for ownership, consultants, and project teams.

Pre-Opening and Operational Readiness

The role involves leading the planning, development, opening, and ongoing performance of all food and beverage outlets. This includes validating operating assumptions, managing pre-opening activities, and ensuring successful opening and stabilization of hotels. Responsibilities extend to reviewing and validating Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E) requirements, procurement plans, and opening inventories, as well as supporting the preparation and management of Food & Beverage Pre-Opening Budgets (POB).

Financial and Talent Management

This position is responsible for developing annual business plans, budgets, forecasts, and performance targets for food and beverage operations. It includes reviewing financial performance, implementing corrective actions, and identifying new business opportunities and operating efficiencies. The Director will also focus on talent development, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation, and ensuring optimal staffing structures and employee engagement.

Preferred Experience

• Multi-property or cluster leadership experience.
• Experience with mixed-positioning hotel portfolios (select-service, midscale, upscale, lifestyle, serviced apartments, family entertainment destinations, or resorts).
• Experience preparing F&B operating budgets, Pre-Opening Budgets (POB), and staffing models.
• Experience with banqueting, event operations, and destination food and beverage concepts.
• Experience supporting hotel openings and stabilization programs across multiple properties.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. The role requires close collaboration with ownership, consultants, and hotel leadership teams to drive revenue growth, profitability, guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and long-term asset value.
