Overview of the Role

People Group Arabia is seeking a Director of Development to join a leading real estate development organization. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with projects spanning Riyadh and Jeddah. The role involves overseeing a portfolio of high-end residential projects across the full development lifecycle.

Role Context

The Director of Development will hold a key leadership position, responsible for delivering premium residential developments. This includes managing projects from initial concept and feasibility through design, procurement, construction, and final delivery, ensuring adherence to high standards of design, quality, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of high-end residential projects from inception to completion.
• Oversee design management, master planning, development strategy, and project delivery.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Drive commercial performance, manage budgets, program schedules, and development quality.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with established standards of design, quality, and customer expectations.
• Build and maintain relationships with government authorities, investors, and strategic partners.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of extensive experience in Development Director or Senior Development Management roles within high-end residential real estate.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering luxury residential developments and large-scale projects.
• Experience managing the full development lifecycle.
• Strong commercial, technical, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC region is highly advantageous.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing projects in both Riyadh and Jeddah. The role requires leadership within a dynamic real estate development organization.
