Omega Talent is supporting a leading contractor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with the appointment of a Director of Quality Assurance. This full-time role is critical for leading the corporate quality function across a portfolio of major building projects.

Role Overview

This is a senior leadership position focused on enhancing quality governance and ensuring the consistent implementation of processes, procedures, and standards throughout the business. The Director will collaborate closely with executive leadership and project teams to integrate quality across all phases of project delivery, from procurement and construction to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the corporate quality strategy and Quality Management System in alignment with ISO 9001 standards.
• Establish company-wide policies, procedures, audit programs, and reporting standards, ensuring consistent application across all projects.
• Provide oversight for project quality plans, inspection and test plans, material approvals, and subcontractor quality arrangements.
• Lead corporate and project audits to assess compliance with contractual specifications, applicable codes, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• Monitor non-conformances, investigate recurring issues, and ensure effective root-cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented.
• Oversee project quality leadership, offering direction, support, and accountability across the entire project portfolio.
• Strengthen supplier and subcontractor quality assessment processes in collaboration with procurement and operations teams.
• Drive improvements in workmanship, defect prevention, and handover readiness to reduce rework and associated costs.
• Establish meaningful quality KPIs and report performance, emerging risks, and improvement priorities to executive leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the construction or building projects sector.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO 9001.
• Proven leadership experience in managing quality functions across multiple projects.
