Manager Quality Assurance

About the Role

Advanced Metals Company (AMCO) is seeking a Manager Quality Assurance to join their team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time role is critical for ensuring full compliance with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards across all manufacturing, machining, inspection, and testing processes for tubular goods, valves, wellhead equipment, and precision-machined components. The Manager Quality Assurance will be responsible for maintaining product integrity, traceability, and conformity from raw material receipt through final inspection and certification.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this role is to lead, implement, and sustain the Quality Management System (QMS) by continuously monitoring, analyzing, and reporting service quality performance to management. The Manager Quality Assurance will proactively prevent nonconformities through effective corrective and preventive actions, promote QMS awareness throughout AMCO, and lead the QA team. This position also involves conducting internal and external audits, driving continuous process improvement, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation. The role ensures full compliance with applicable standards, certifications, and licenses issued by international bodies, ARAMCO, and other stakeholders, while supporting AMCO’s growth strategy by qualifying the organization for expanded scopes, capabilities, and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular reviews of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Represent AMCO during internal and external audits.
• Manage, train, and mentor QA staff and other employees on quality standards and best practices.
• Maintain licenses and certifications, ensuring adherence to regulations, standards, and specifications.
• Plan and conduct internal and external audits, inspections, and process validations.
• Analyze quality metrics, identify trends, report on performance, and manage quality records.
• Manage the team of Document Controllers.
• Manage supplier qualifications and monitor their performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing and sustaining Quality Management Systems.
• Proven ability to ensure compliance with API standards and other international certifications.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, within the Eastern region. The role involves working within a manufacturing environment focused on tubular goods, valves, wellhead equipment, and precision-machined components, requiring close collaboration with various departments and external stakeholders.
