The Role of Ecommerce Manager

Al Rabie Saudi Foods Co. is seeking an Ecommerce Manager to lead its digital commerce agenda. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is responsible for owning, building, and scaling the company's online sales presence across key platforms in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, the role drives revenue and brand visibility within the fast-growing online retail ecosystem, encompassing major marketplaces, quick-commerce applications, and retailer e-channels. It combines commercial ownership, operational execution, and digital marketing, supporting Al Rabie's channel diversification and digital transformation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the e-commerce channel strategy, aligning with commercial and brand objectives, and achieving annual and quarterly revenue and volume targets.
  • Drive growth across marketplaces, quick-commerce platforms, and retailer online channels within Modern Trade.
  • Identify white-space opportunities within the Saudi e-commerce ecosystem to expand beverage category share.
  • Develop channel-specific product pipelines, including bundle packs, e-exclusive SKUs, and gifting formats, in collaboration with marketing and trade marketing teams.
  • Manage the e-commerce P&L, covering net revenue, trade expenditure, promotional ROI, and profitability targets.
  • Lead pricing, promotional architecture, and assortment decisions by platform, ensuring compliance with company margin guidelines.
  • Manage trade investment budgets to balance platform visibility, activation, and bottom-line contribution.
  • Deliver accurate volume and revenue forecasts in coordination with supply chain and demand planning teams, ensuring product availability and freshness.
  • Manage day-to-day and strategic relationships with key e-commerce and quick-commerce partners across Saudi Arabia.
  • Negotiate joint business plans, commercial terms, listing fees, on-platform visibility, and activation calendars.
  • Ensure best-in-class digital shelf execution, including accurate product descriptions, high-quality imagery, health claims compliance, nutritional data accuracy, and proactive ratings management.
  • Manage Al Rabie's brand pages and virtual storefronts across platforms, including A+ content and sponsored placement strategies.
  • Ensure high in-stock rates, accurate listings, and on-time fulfillment across all active platforms, with attention to shelf-life and cold-chain compliance for beverage lines.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and customer service teams to resolve availability, delivery, and return issues.
  • Monitor and reduce out-of-stock events, chargebacks, and marketplace penalties.
  • Support ERP and order management system integration with marketplace partners in coordination with Sales Operations and IT.
  • Oversee on-platform paid advertising campaigns, optimizing ROAS and conversion metrics.
  • Partner with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and effective execution of seasonal campaigns, Ramadan activations, and new product launches.
  • Drive basket-building tactics such as cross-selling bundles, multi-pack promotions, and subscription offers.
  • Monitor and continuously improve product ratings, reviews, and customer engagement across all active platforms.
  • Build and maintain e-commerce KPI dashboards covering sell-out performance, availability, digital shelf health, advertising efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize platform analytics to generate actionable insights and course-correct performance.
  • Track competitive benchmarks across the juice and beverage category online, identifying pricing gaps, content weaknesses, and promotional opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly e-commerce performance reviews for the commercial leadership team.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in FMCG business or a similar field, with a preference for Food & Beverage FMCG.
  • At least 4 years of experience in e-commerce, commercial, sales, or digital roles.
  • Demonstrated hands-on KSA marketplace experience is required.
  • Proven P&L or trade budget ownership.
  • Track record of managing Noon, ******, or quick-commerce accounts.
  • Proven ability to deliver sell-out growth and platform KPIs.
  • Experience owning promotional planning and execution.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration across supply chain, marketing, and finance teams.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills with platform partners.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple platform relationships simultaneously.
