Electrical Inspector

About the Role

دار الرياض | Dar Al Riyadh is seeking an Electrical Inspector to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves inspecting various electrical installations to ensure compliance with approved documents and industry standards. The Electrical Inspector will also provide support for commissioning and handover activities on large-scale developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect MV/LV distribution, lighting, small power, earthing, emergency power, and electrical life-safety installations.
• Review and respond to electrical Requests for Inspection.
• Verify containment, cabling, terminations, panels, fixtures, and equipment against approved documents.
• Witness insulation-resistance, continuity, earth-resistance, functional, and operational tests.
• Inspect electrical works across residential, commercial, retail, office, clubhouse, and external areas.
• Identify defective or non-compliant installations and monitor corrective actions.
• Support energisation, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of electrical inspection experience.
• Experience on large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial developments.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, earthing, emergency power, and life-safety systems.
• Familiarity with SEC, IEC, NFPA, NEC, and Saudi Building Code requirements.
• Previous consultancy or construction supervision experience is preferred.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers registration is required.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves working on significant mixed-use residential and commercial developments.
