Inspector Electrical

About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Field Engineer - Electrical to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment across various client sites. The successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure efficient and safe system operations, maintain technical documentation, and adhere to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components at project sites.
• Conduct site inspections and technical assessments to identify system performance issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnostic tools and analytical problem-solving techniques.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and power distribution systems.
• Test and verify equipment functionality using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized diagnostic software.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, electrical codes, and industry standards during all field operations.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications in technical reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and other engineering teams to optimize system performance.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and provide technical support as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for electrical fault analysis.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols, electrical codes, and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
