Role Overview

AECOM is seeking an Electrical Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves significant leadership and technical responsibilities, requiring extensive progressive experience in engineering. The Electrical Manager will interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate technical assignments, often dealing with unique or complex problems within the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various management, leadership, and people accountability responsibilities for a specific technical group or department.
• Take full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments.
• Apply multi-disciplinary knowledge of engineering to tasks.
• Plan and develop engineering tasks related to unique or controversial problems, including exploration of subject areas, scope definition, problem selection for investigation, and development of novel concepts.
• Maintain liaison with units within the organization and individuals both internal and external to the organization.
• Act independently on technical matters pertaining to the field.
• Manage a group of engineers and/or technicians, coordinating the activities of the unit.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a relevant engineering field.
• Demonstrated multi-disciplinary knowledge of engineering.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision, with assignments provided in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
