ELV Engineer

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking an ELV Engineer to supervise ELV and ICT systems across various developments in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.

Role Context

The ELV Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and integration of Extra Low Voltage and Information and Communication Technology systems within large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial developments. This involves reviewing designs, coordinating interfaces, and managing the testing and handover processes for complex system architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise ELV and ICT systems across residential, commercial, retail, office, clubhouse, and public areas.
• Review designs, shop drawings, technical submittals, schematics, and system architecture.
• Oversee fire alarm, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, public address, intercom, IPTV, BMS, and smart-home systems.
• Coordinate ELV interfaces with electrical, mechanical, architectural, security, and operator requirements.
• Review integration, network, cause-and-effect, and interface requirements.
• Witness system testing, integration, commissioning, and authority inspections.
• Manage snagging, training, handover, warranties, and O&M documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of ELV, ICT, or low-current engineering experience.
• Experience on large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial developments.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm, security, ICT, AV, BMS, and smart-building systems.
• Experience with integrated testing, commissioning, and system handover.
• Knowledge of SBC, NFPA, Civil Defense, and applicable international standards.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers registration is mandatory.

Work Location

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
