About the Role

Avensys Consulting, a global IT professional services company, is seeking an experienced ESRI Web Developer for a long-term contract position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to significant projects within the Riyadh Region.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The primary focus of this position is to provide expert technical guidance for an ArcGIS Enterprise upgrade, alongside web development and ongoing maintenance. The role involves managing technical risks across the platform, overseeing system reconnections, coordinating with third-party vendors, and approving deliverables from offshore teams. A key aspect of this role is leading environment cutovers through to production go-live and subsequent handover to the Application Management Services (AMS) team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise for ArcGIS Enterprise upgrades.
Develop and maintain ESRI web applications.
Ensure successful delivery of complex, federated ArcGIS environments and geodatabases.
Integrate FME Flow solutions.
Manage platform-wide technical risks.
Oversee enterprise system reconnections.
Coordinate with third-party vendors.
Approve offshore deliverables.
Lead environment cutovers to production and AMS handover.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in ESRI technologies and web development. The position requires a minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. Proven experience in delivering complex, federated ArcGIS environments and geodatabases is essential. Familiarity with FME Flow integrations is also required.

Work Arrangement

This is a contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Riyadh Region. The work type is contract, with an immediate to 15-day notice period preferred. The contract is long-term.
