Mace is currently seeking an Estimating Manager who is a Saudi National to join its full-time operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Project Overview

This role supports a significant project involving a large multipurpose venue situated in the heart of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This venue is designed for long-term use, serving as a versatile hub for various sports, entertainment, and community events.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead teams in the preparation of cost plans, estimates, and measurement exercises, including schedules of quantities, across diverse projects and portfolios.
• Develop strategic reviews, prospect assessments, and fact-finding activities to support project opportunities and estimating strategies.
• Manage and conduct benchmarking exercises to validate estimates, ensuring both cost competitiveness and accuracy.
• Oversee quality assurance processes for estimates, ensuring outputs are robust, fit for purpose, and aligned with business requirements.
• Present estimates to key stakeholders, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of project scope, risks, assumptions, and associated costs.
• Provide expert estimating, risk modelling, and scenario analysis, delivering actionable recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analyse supplier and contractor quotations, offering commercial insights, modelling solutions, and strategic options to senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop estimating teams, represent the business in client and stakeholder engagements, and support net zero carbon objectives through proactive carbon management and reduction initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in estimating and pre-contract cost management.
• At least 6 years of this experience must be in senior management roles, specifically on large infrastructure or mixed-use developments.
