About the Executive Sales Role
Four Points by Sheraton is seeking an Executive Sales professional to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to providing comprehensive support to guests and the Sales & Marketing department, ensuring high standards of service and operational efficiency within the hotel environment.
Role Purpose and Contribution
The Executive Sales role is designed to support the hotel's sales objectives by directly engaging with guests and managing various administrative and sales-related tasks. This involves maintaining guest loyalty, maximizing revenue through effective sales techniques, and ensuring all guest interactions and departmental support functions are handled with professionalism and accuracy.
Core Responsibilities
- Resolve guest calls, requests, or problems by contacting appropriate individuals or departments (*, Sales, Data Administration, Accounting).
- Implement sales techniques, including up-selling, to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty to Marriott.
- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software when taking guest reservations and process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
- Perform general office duties to support the Sales & Marketing department, including filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.
- Assist management in training and motivating employees, serving as a role model for professional conduct.
- Promote awareness of the brand image both internally and externally.
- Determine and provide complimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage, such as rewards points, show tickets, or gift certificates.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Monitor the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Read and visually verify information in various formats and perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this position.
- License or Certification: None specified.
