About the Executive Sales Role

Al Ghurair is seeking an Executive Sales professional to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is focused on driving sales growth, expanding the customer base, and exploring new market opportunities. The role requires a candidate with 5-10 years of experience in a relevant sales capacity.

Core Sales Objectives

The primary objective of this role is to significantly increase sales volume and expand the existing customer database. This involves acquiring new customers and focusing on new market segments, particularly with the introduction of new products from principals.

  • Increase overall sales volume.
  • Expand the current customer database through new acquisitions.
  • Target new segments based on product introductions, such as trucks from Ashok Leyland and Z7 from CMC.

Market Development and Expansion

A key aspect of this role involves identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities and channels to broaden Al Ghurair's reach.

  • Explore opportunities in satellite cities where the company's presence is currently weak.
  • Identify and develop new sales channels, including the establishment of sub-dealers.
  • Explore opportunities specifically for Ashok Leyland Trucks and ESCORTS Construction Equipments.
  • Expand market reach by identifying sub-dealers in satellite towns.

Key Responsibilities and Reporting

The Executive Sales professional will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships and providing crucial market insights to the Regional Manager.

  • Monitor competitive activities regularly.
  • Submit market intelligence reports to the Regional Manager.
  • Maintain strong business relations with key accounts.

Operational and Strategic Oversight

This role includes strategic considerations for profitability and operational efficiency in sales processes, alongside fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • Maintain the Recommended Selling Price to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure timely delivery of vehicles to customers.
  • Ensure receivables are collected on time.
  • Foster team working within the sales environment.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Executive Sales position must demonstrate a solid background in sales with proven experience in achieving targets and expanding market presence.

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in sales, preferably within a related industry.
  • Proven ability to acquire new customers and expand existing databases.
  • Experience in market analysis and competitive intelligence reporting.
