About the Role

Majestic International Company is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Facilities Management Director to lead all facilities management operations for a significant project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves developing comprehensive FM strategies, overseeing day-to-day operations, and managing budgets and resources. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while driving operational excellence across all facilities services.

The Facilities Management Director will provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives and maintain high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the overall Facilities Management strategy, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for all FM activities, including hard services, soft services, maintenance, and asset management.
  • Ensure efficient operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of facilities and infrastructure.
  • Manage departmental budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary FM teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, clients, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, innovation, and best practices in facilities management.
  • Prepare management reports, operational analyses, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Oversee vendor and contractor performance management to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Support organizational goals through effective resource planning and risk management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in Facilities Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management or leadership position.
  • Professional certifications in Facilities Management are considered an advantage.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Facilities Management principles, strategies, and industry best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Sound knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE), and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and service excellence.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience managing large-scale Facilities Management projects.
  • Experience working on government, semi-government, or major infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia.
  • Familiarity with international FM standards and asset management practices.
