About the Role

McGregor Boyall is recruiting for a Business Unit Head Facilities Management on behalf of a well-established facilities management and operations group. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and represents a senior leadership opportunity within the organization.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will step into a deputy directorship, working directly alongside the Business Unit Operations Director. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day delivery across multiple projects and sites, translating strategic objectives into operational plans, and ensuring teams meet financial and performance targets. It is a hands-on leadership position offering full exposure to P&L management, client relationships, and business unit strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive project delivery across scope, budget, and schedule, implementing active risk management strategies.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identify potential issues early, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Manage budgets, control costs effectively, and protect overall profitability.
  • Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Lead and develop high-performing operational teams.
  • Champion quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), and compliance standards across all operational sites.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a strong engineering background combined with deep expertise in Facilities Management (FM) and operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with multi-site or multi-project operational teams.
  • Exhibit commercial acumen, including a clear understanding of budgets, cost control, and profit drivers.
  • Be a confident communicator capable of engaging effectively with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive problem-solver who addresses challenges directly rather than escalating them.
