HCLTech is seeking a skilled FileNet /IBM BAW System Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is dedicated to supporting and administering critical Enterprise Content Management (ECM) environments within the organization.

Role Purpose

The successful candidate will function as an IBM FileNet P8 Administrator / ECM Support Engineer. This role is central to ensuring the high availability and optimal performance of IBM ECM environments through diligent support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration. It requires a motivated individual with proven technical expertise in IBM Enterprise Content Management technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support IBM FileNet P8 Content Platform Engine (CPE) and related components.
• Install, configure, and maintain IBM Content Navigator (ICN) and FileNet services.
• Support IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) environments and assist in deployment activities.
• Deploy and manage enterprise applications on IBM WebSphere Application Server ND.
• Monitor application health, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Configure and maintain Linux servers hosting FileNet and WebSphere environments.
• Manage Microsoft SQL Server databases related to FileNet and BAW applications.
• Analyze application, WebSphere, and FileNet logs to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform environment health checks and optimize system performance.
• Coordinate with application development, infrastructure, database, and security teams during deployments and production support.
• Participate in production support, incident management, and change management activities.

Required Experience and Technical Expertise

Candidates must possess 2-3 years of hands-on experience in IBM Enterprise Content Management technologies. Essential technical skills include proficiency with IBM FileNet P8, IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment (ND), Linux administration, and Microsoft SQL Server.

System Administration and Performance Optimization

This role involves comprehensive system administration, including the configuration and maintenance of Linux servers that host FileNet and WebSphere environments. The engineer will also manage Microsoft SQL Server databases supporting FileNet and BAW applications, ensuring their stability and performance. A key aspect is the continuous monitoring of application health, proactive troubleshooting of production issues, and conducting root cause analysis to maintain system integrity.

Operational Coordination and Management

The FileNet /IBM BAW System Engineer will play a crucial role in operational coordination, working closely with application development, infrastructure, database, and security teams. This collaboration is vital during system deployments and ongoing production support. Additionally, the role requires active participation in production support activities, incident management, and adherence to change management processes.
