Finance Systems Analyst

About the Role

alfanar Group is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is responsible for analyzing and executing system testing activities to ensure applications meet defined business, functional, technical, and quality requirements. The analyst will identify defects, manage testing risks, and support the continuous improvement of QA processes.

Core Responsibilities

The primary duties for this position involve a comprehensive approach to software quality assurance and process enhancement:

• Analyze software testing processes, workflows, and quality assurance procedures to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct test process assessments to evaluate testing effectiveness, coverage, compliance, and operational quality.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying issues affecting software quality, testing efficiency, and defect resolution.
• Assess testing dependencies, risks, controls, and potential impacts on software quality and delivery.

Documentation and Quality Assurance

A critical aspect of this role is the development and maintenance of thorough documentation to support quality improvement initiatives:

• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, test workflows, defect reports, and test execution records.
• Document current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) testing processes to support quality improvement initiatives.
• Define test inputs, expected outputs, validation criteria, roles, responsibilities, and performance measures.
• Ensure test documentation remains accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business and system requirements.
