Finance Systems Analyst

About the Role

alfanar is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is responsible for analyzing and executing system testing activities to ensure applications meet defined business, functional, technical, and quality requirements. The analyst will identify defects, manage testing risks, and support continuous improvement of QA processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze software testing processes, workflows, and quality assurance procedures to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct test process assessments to evaluate testing effectiveness, coverage, compliance, and operational quality.
• Perform root cause analysis for issues affecting software quality and testing efficiency.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
• Document current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) testing processes to support quality improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline testing activities, improve test coverage, and reduce testing cycle times.
• Gather and analyze business, functional, and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business and system requirements into test scenarios, test cases, and quality validation requirements.
• Analyze test execution and defect data to identify trends, issues, and quality risks.
• Prepare analytical test reports and recommendations to support project and release decision-making.
• Support the implementation of testing activities for new systems, enhancements, and process changes.
• Participate in test execution, regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and operational readiness activities.
• Ensure testing activities comply with organizational QA policies, quality standards, and testing procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing, quality assurance, and continuous improvement methodologies.
