About the Fleet Specialist Facility Role
Alfanar is seeking a Fleet Specialist Facility to support the daily operations of company vehicles in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on ensuring the efficient and well-maintained condition of the company's fleet through proactive management and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate regular maintenance and repairs for all company vehicles, conducting routine checks to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Maintain a spare vehicle ready for emergency use.
- Monitor and ensure the timely renewal of vehicle insurances and licenses.
- Handle monthly payments related to fleet operations, including leasing, servicing, and other associated costs, as well as manage regular fuel and maintenance expenses.
- Prepare and submit reports on the working condition of company vehicles and equipment to relevant authorities.
- File reports for any delays, incidents, or accidents involving fleet vehicles.
- Investigate, verify, and resolve customer complaints related to fleet operations.
- Handover vehicles to users as per requirements, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
Driver and User Engagement
Maintain open communication channels with drivers and users of company vehicles. This includes actively addressing and resolving any issues or concerns they may raise regarding vehicle performance or operational matters.
Operational Performance and Improvement
- Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
- Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and the execution of planned tasks.
- Solve related problems as they arise and escalate complex operational issues when necessary.
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, and seek opportunities for automation.
Quality and Compliance
- Ensure quality requirements are met by developing effective quality control processes, including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.
- Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and the delivery of high-quality services.
Required Skills and Experience
The role requires the ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills relevant to fleet management. A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a similar capacity is expected. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving, effective resource management, and a commitment to quality and compliance.
