About the Fleet Specialist Role

alfanar, a company with operations in construction, manufacturing, and facilities across the Middle East and beyond, is seeking a Fleet Specialist to support the daily operations of company vehicles. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the company's vehicle fleet through diligent management and proactive support.

Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to support the daily operations of company vehicles by managing regular maintenance, ensuring proper documentation, overseeing timely renewals of licenses and insurance, and facilitating clear communication with drivers and users. The Fleet Specialist will be responsible for coordinating maintenance and repairs, conducting routine checks, and maintaining a spare vehicle for emergency use.

  • Coordinate regular maintenance and repair schedules for all company vehicles.
  • Conduct routine checks to verify vehicles are in optimal working condition.
  • Ensure a spare vehicle is available for immediate use in emergency situations.
  • Monitor and manage the timely renewal of all vehicle insurances and licenses.
  • Handover vehicles to authorized users according to established procedures and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Investigate, verify, and resolve customer complaints pertaining to fleet operations.

Reporting and Communication

The Fleet Specialist will be responsible for preparing and submitting reports on the working condition of company vehicles and equipment to the relevant departmental authorities. This includes filing reports for any delays, incidents, or accidents involving fleet vehicles. Maintaining open and effective communication channels with drivers is essential for addressing and resolving any issues or concerns they may raise.
