Role Overview

Alfanar Projects is seeking a Foreman Mechanical to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves directing the operation, servicing, and repair of heavy equipment, and supervising a team of employees engaged in these activities. The position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in mechanical operations and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Directing the operation, servicing, and repair of heavy equipment.
• Planning and supervising the activities of employees involved in equipment operation and repair.
• Maintaining comprehensive records for each equipment item, including downtime, mechanical malfunctions, and necessary repairs.
• Assembling reports on the operating costs of various equipment models.
• Assisting with interviewing potential employees, training, and evaluating new operators.
• Directing the team to execute maintenance plans for equipment and vehicles.
• Guiding the team to fulfill quarterly requirements for oils, greases, filters, wear parts, and spare parts.
• Verifying excellent equipment usage with operators.
• Following up with document controllers and senior mechanical technicians for maintenance card arrangements.
• Reporting breakdown root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to management.
• Ensuring a safe working environment for self and colleagues, adhering to all health, safety, environmental, and quality management procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant mechanical foreman or supervisory role.

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, maintenance planning, and operational efficiency.
