About the Role

Gulf Center for Geophysical & Water Consulting is seeking an experienced Foreman – Site Construction Operations to join its Field Operations team. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing critical construction activities.

Role Overview and Objectives

The successful candidate will supervise day-to-day construction activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in strict accordance with project quality, schedule, and cost objectives. This role requires strong leadership in managing construction crews, coordinating resources, and maintaining site administration. A key focus will be on ensuring comprehensive compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across various civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site construction activities, ensuring work execution is safe, efficient, and aligned with approved plans.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor activities effectively.
• Monitor construction progress, productivity, quality, and cost performance against project benchmarks.
• Ensure full compliance with project health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Organize and control the utilization of construction plant, equipment, and temporary works.
• Oversee specific construction tasks including concrete works, formwork, scaffolding, excavation, and earthworks activities.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and essential construction documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, project management, contractors, and other stakeholders to efficiently resolve site issues.
• Lead and motivate site teams to achieve project objectives while upholding high workmanship standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and actively promote safe working practices across the construction site.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in site construction operations.
• Proven ability to supervise and manage construction crews effectively.
• Demonstrated understanding of project quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and compliance in construction.
• Experience in coordinating resources and maintaining site administration.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position within the Field Operations team, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working on civil construction projects and requires a hands-on approach to site supervision.
