About the Role: Forward Deployed Engineer, Agentic Platform

tkxel is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer, Agentic Platform, to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves integrating AI into critical enterprise sectors such as finance, healthcare, and telecommunications. The position acts as a bridge between our core North product and client engineering teams, focusing on solving complex problems and securely deploying AI solutions.

Role Overview

The Forward Deployed Engineer will design, build, and deploy agentic workflows powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), from initial prototypes to production-grade AI agents. This role requires close collaboration with customers to address real-world business problems, often developing novel agent workflows that integrate LLMs with various tools, APIs, and data sources. The expectation is to deliver reliable, observable, safe, and auditable agents from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with enterprise customers to translate ambiguous business problems into well-defined agentic workflows with clear success criteria.
• Lead the design, construction, and delivery of LLM-powered agents that reason, plan, and act across tools, APIs, and sensitive enterprise data sources, ensuring enterprise-grade reliability and performance.
• Develop and implement features for North, our AI workspace platform, covering the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization to production.
• Manage the scoping and shaping of use cases end-to-end, adapting to various technical areas, including frontend development, to achieve effective solutions.
• Contribute to shared frameworks and patterns to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across different customers and teams.
• Provide clarity in complex situations, foster alignment, and enhance engineering quality across the organization.
• Travel up to 20–40% for on-site work with customers and partners.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Software Engineer with applied AI experience.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with customers and leading technical discussions with enterprise stakeholders.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into concrete technical specifications.
• Proven experience managing the full scope of a use case from beginning to end.
• Adept at working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, maintaining execution quality despite shifting priorities.

This role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, similar to a startup, while maintaining high enterprise standards for reliability and performance. The position requires significant interaction with clients and internal teams, including regular travel to customer and partner sites.
