About the Role: Forward Deployed Engineer, Agentic Platform

Tkxel is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer, Agentic Platform to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role involves integrating AI into critical sectors such as finance, healthcare, and telecommunications, serving as a bridge between the core North product and client engineering teams. The position requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on designing, building, and deploying agentic workflows powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) to deliver business value in enterprise workflows.

Role Context and Impact

This role offers an opportunity to influence how enterprises leverage AI in real-world applications. The engineer will work directly with customers to solve complex problems, often developing novel agent workflows that integrate LLMs with various tools, APIs, and data sources. The expectation is to deliver reliable, observable, safe, and auditable AI agents from the initial prototype phase through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with enterprise customers to translate ambiguous business problems into well-defined agentic workflows with clear success criteria.
• Lead the design, development, and delivery of LLM-powered agents that reason, plan, and act across tools, APIs, and sensitive enterprise data sources, ensuring enterprise-grade reliability and performance.
• Contribute to the North AI workspace platform by building and shipping features across the full product lifecycle, from conceptualization to production.
• Take ownership of use case scoping and shaping end-to-end, adapting to various technical areas, including frontend, to achieve effective solutions.
• Contribute to shared frameworks and patterns to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across customer engagements and internal teams.
• Drive clarity in ambiguous situations, build alignment among stakeholders, and enhance engineering quality across the organization.
• Travel up to 20–40% for on-site work with customers and partners.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrated experience building and deploying production-grade software in Python, with a focus on clean, testable, observable, and scalable code.
• Proven ability to build and deploy highly performant RAG and agentic applications, including agents that plan and execute multi-step tasks using patterns such as ReAct or Plan-and-Execute.
• Deep familiarity with the LLM stack, including frontier models, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks.
• Ability to develop robust evaluation frameworks to measure agent accuracy, safety, and latency beyond basic trial and error.
• Experience working directly with customers and leading technical discussions with enterprise stakeholders, translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Experience owning the full scope of a use case from end-to-end.
• Adept at working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, maintaining execution quality even with shifting priorities.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience setting architectural standards for AI and agentic systems across distributed teams.
• Ability to adapt to unfamiliar technical areas, such as frontend development, as required by project demands.
• Exposure to regulated or sensitive industry environments, including finance, healthcare, or telecommunications.
• Experience with enterprise security, compliance, or auditability requirements for AI systems.
