Full Stack Technical Lead

About the Role

T2 is seeking a Full Stack Technical Lead to join the team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, hands-on role focused on leading the engineering team for Authentica, the company's authentication and identity verification platform. The platform currently serves approximately 16,000 users.

Role Overview

The Technical Lead will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the Authentica platform. This includes writing and reviewing code, making architectural decisions, and mentoring developers. The role requires a blend of technical leadership and direct development contributions across various system components.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development efforts across the customer portal, admin portal, backend APIs, and background services.
• Translate business requirements into technical tasks and deliver features across frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Maintain authentication and verification flows, including OTP, messaging integrations, delivery statuses, and customer webhooks.
• Ensure accuracy in billing processes, covering credit balances, charges, refunds, payment integrations, and transaction records.
• Implement improvements for reliability, performance, and security, and resolve production issues.
• Provide technical leadership to developers through architecture decisions, code reviews, mentoring, and identifying risks before releases.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams on estimates, testing procedures, and release management.
• Maintain and update architecture notes, API documentation, and developer guides.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading developers while actively contributing to coding.
• Experience maintaining a live platform with active customer integrations.
• A background in authentication, messaging, payments, or SaaS is considered a strong advantage.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis within the T2 engineering team.
