Senior Software Engineer Full Stack

About the Role

Moyasar Financial Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack to join its Engineering team in Riyadh Province, Riyadh. This full-time role involves contributing to the development and enhancement of digital payment products and services. The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience and will be instrumental in building reliable solutions for businesses and merchants.

Role Context and Focus

The Senior Software Engineer will work across the full technology stack, utilizing Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq. This position requires an individual who can understand business problems, contribute to solution design, and take ownership of features from conception to delivery, ensuring the development of robust payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and improve full-stack features for Moyasar’s payment products and merchant services.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs, and user-facing web features.
• Build reliable integrations to support the payment ecosystem.
• Translate merchant and business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Take ownership of features from problem definition through development and production.
• Work with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq.
• Improve the performance, reliability, scalability, and security of existing systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions.
• Review code and provide support to other engineers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve products.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience in software engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq.
• Proven ability to develop full-stack features, backend services, and REST APIs.

Technical Environment

The role involves working with a technology stack that includes Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq. A strong understanding of these technologies is essential for developing and maintaining Moyasar's payment products and services.
