About the Opportunity

FNRCO is seeking a dedicated G R Maintenance Professional to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for supporting the Guideway and 3rd Rail subsystem leader in maintaining high service availability and achieving critical maintenance targets within a complex railway environment.

Role Context and Environment

As a Maintenance Professional, you will operate within the extensive Guideway and 3rd Rail subsystem, which spans 97 km of single track and includes 21 stations. You will report directly to the Guideway and 3rd Rail subsystem Leader and collaborate with a team of multi-skilled Maintenance Professionals and engineers. Adherence to all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Alstom Zero Deviation Program (AZDP) policies is fundamental to this position.

Core Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities for this role include:

• Participating in Guideway and 3rd Rail internal and contractual training programs to achieve optimal performance levels.
• Following hierarchy instructions to ensure the availability of Guideway and 3rd Rail equipment.
• Applying all planned and unplanned maintenance tasks promptly to prevent service disruptions.
• Proactively identifying critical issues and communicating them effectively to your leader.
• Adhering to reporting and configuration change rules and processes, utilizing appropriate tools.
• Ensuring transparent and accurate reporting of all activities.

Safety and Compliance Standards

A paramount aspect of this role is ensuring a safe working environment and strict adherence to all safety regulations. This involves:

• Ensuring a safe working environment by respecting method statements, strictly applying Permit to Work procedures, and following Alstom safety rules.
• Performing all work in a safe and effective manner, in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974), relevant Rules and Regulations, AZDP, Railway Group Standards, TOC Safety Case, and ALSTOM Policies and Procedures & Code of Ethics.
• Being accountable for the proper implementation of Alstom policy and Customer requirements by all internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors.
• Actively using and promoting Close Call Reporting to enhance safety awareness and incident prevention.

Required Experience

Candidates for the G R Maintenance Professional position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in maintenance roles, preferably within a railway or similar infrastructure environment. A proven track record of supporting operational availability and adhering to stringent safety protocols is essential.
